The Grand Lieutenant of the Royal Order of the Pearl of Sulu
The Royal Chancellery of the Royal House of Sulu are composed of admirable men from around the world who support the people of Sulu voluntarily. They also serve His Royal Majesty Ampun Sultan Hadji Muedzul-Lail Tan Kiram, The 35th Sultan of Sulu and North Borneo by advising him on numerous international matters that affect the Sultanate and the Tausug people.
Our Grand Lieutenant in the Royal Chancellery, His Excellency William Alfred Hackett, is a retired London Firefighter who had a distinguished career with the London Fire Brigade as an Operational Firefighter and Officer and has been decorated for bravery. He has voluntarily worked for many years for the homeless in London and Glasgow. He continues to be an active member in the communities he serves helping the disabled and disadvantaged.
His Excellency William Hackett is an Officer of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem and is believed to be the first Scottish member of the Order to receive their Life Saving Medal. For his voluntary work with the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, he was invested into the Order pro Merito Melitensi, and received the grade of Silver Medal. He was also admitted into the Worshipful Company of Firefighters and has been granted the Freedom of the City of London.
His Excellency is a Grand Cordon of the Royal and Hashemite Order of the Pearl of the Royal Sultanate of Sulu.

The gap between developed and undervalued nations needs to be reduced to enable peace and harmony in our world.
